Grooming a Nanday Conure in India is less about appearance than about catching problems early. Ten minutes with your hands in the coat finds the tick or the hot spot while it is still nothing.
Low-shedding, and what it costs
The Nanday Conure sheds little. That is why the coat needs more work rather than less: hair that does not fall out mats against the skin instead, so clipping becomes a scheduled expense.
Nails, beak and perches
Overgrowth of either usually means the perches are wrong. Varying diameters in natural wood keep feet healthy and beaks worn.

A shallow dish or a light misting a few times a week - let the bird choose, and never submerge it.
